CTD When loading campaign game

OMG im so angry the game worked perfectly fine yesterday...i havnt touched any of the files or anything and today when i go to play my greek campaign when it begins loading it crashes! guh...i have the latest version of e.b.

Is it just one savegame, or do all savegames suffer from this issue? That includes the autosave and quicksave.

Someone better look to the KH then.

Yeah i dont want to restart a new campaign with em coz 1. im scared itll just happen again and 2 i cant be stuffed doing it again. I was going so good i had kicked macedonia and epeiros out of greece and made some way through turkey and was about to take sicily...guh :(

but yeah other campaigns work fine

Are you guys saying all the old savegames were also corrupted posthumously? There's no way the game will step into every savegame on disk to make them unusable. The quicksave and autosave can of course both become corrupted at the same time.

All the old savegames indeed can't go corrupt at the same time.

That's why I'm thinking something must be wrong with the KH. Since this has happened a few times now, all while playing the KH.

What I'm saying is: A savegame that worked 5 days ago, should still work now, unless anything has been changed. That anything can be a lot of things of course, such as a hard drive failure (run scandisk), a changed file (run validation), a new program installed (such as Nero) or a non-retroactive fix being installed, among numerous others.

And one of the more likely things could be installing something incompatible with their savegames.
Not every single fix is compatible with any map.rwm file (Alexandreia ?); not every single minimod is that either. And if people have been modifying the game back and forth... who knows what causes the crash?

Don't changes made to the EDB or EDU require a new map.rwm to be generated?

If you haven't changed anything, I'd suggest a disc check/defragmenter.
And if you did(lying bastard (: ) Politely ask for an EDU lol
