OOC: Following the pretend it's the morning bit:

Vissarionas ek Lesvou enters and holds a conversation in whispers with the steward about what's been discussed before his arrival. Hoping that he has a clear grasp on matters, he bolsters his courage and pipes in his ideas.

'My fellow Ordermates while I certainly acknowledge the good and wise advice of our Grandmaster I must say that I personally would advocate devoting our resources first to the capture of Antioch. I am no mighty strategist, just a simple third son and soldier, but it seems to me the terrain around Antioch is highly suitable for a wise defense, such as the vile rebels currently holding the city are incapable of making. Additionally the city has great trade potential and prestige. If we were to muster out in force with a small army and a quantity of our own guardsmen to lay siege in haste I believe the city could be taken quite quickly, and it's resources then devoted to the cause of securing further lands and training facilities in the Levant.

Additionally, of course, Antioch is not a nation but a sad little collection of rebel warlords. Attacking it would earn us not a war or even the irritation of our neighbors, but their approval and favor for removing the threat of pirates and desert raiders from their lands. The city can be quickly reinforced from our current island holdings, and the people there yearn for a single political and religious authority.

Please brethern, consider my plea, Antioch first and then a sweep down the coast towards the more doughty Catholic and Muslim held lands.'

Vissarionas finishes his impromptu speech looking slightly embarassed by his own forwardness. Having spoken so abruptly he then blushes and follows it by saying,

'Err, by the by, my name is Vissarionas if I haven't met you previously, and my brethern may of course call me Vissa, as my Mother did, for short.'

A deep bow hides his deepening blush as he waits for a response from his fellow members of the Order.
