new or standard babylonian dialect, rather than Assyrian to be exact-not that it matters, seeing that both dialects were intelligible to each other...![]()
I need to have a few guidelines on telling which verbs are a/a, a/u, a/i, e/e, i/i type, and so on...or a rule of thumb. I have some words that I suspect are of teach particular type, but if anyone can correct, be my guest. I need to know how to tell so i can parse them later:
esheeru: to ready (e/e?)
neru (there is a circumflex on the e, so no its not 600): to kill (e/e?)
shalaa'u: to throw, fling, shoot (i/i?)
abaatu: to flee (confirmed a/u)
