1.1 is a standalone release of EB. As for (most of) the others, I haven't got a clue: I don't use those...
The 1.1 fixes are definitely compatible with 1.1; and yes it appears EB will run just fine on the ALX.exe.

Among the fixes is a sprite fix which is a definite must-have -- missing sprites is a sure road to prebattle CTD's; sooner or later. However it also includes a small fix in the DMB and it may therefore not be compatible with mods that have changed the DMB (mods that have added/removed/changed units) as those may be based on an outdated EB DMB... Of course if these have been updated since the fixes were made available... ?
