Whey Protein

Is that normal Whey Protein? I have GNC stuff too, but it just 100% Whey and is not that stuff. By the way, don't buy GNC protein it taste like absolute ****.

I just ordered some Chocolate Mint ON Gold Standard and for the price, I can actually drink it without feeling sick.

Well, if I read it correctly, it has 60 grams of protein per serving, whereas GNC's normal stuff has 20. It also has some other ingredients such as Leucine that supposedly help muscle growth through protein synthesis.

To be honest I was somewhat overwhelmed with the wall of protein at GNC so I asked the guy what the best stuff they had was regardless of price and thats what suggested. Of course it would be a GNC product.

It's actually funny. I did the same thing. The guy offered me some protein which was 40 bucks for 2 lbs which wasn't GNC, but really expensive. I declined and purchased the cheap GNC stuff.

I don't really shop there anymore though. I found their prices at tad high. They do offer good multivitamins though.

Leucine is a branched chained amino acid, and it's found in any whey. Whey is rather heavy in bcaa's which is why it's considered to be more of an anobolic form of protien. Leucine can help with muscle growth, the main problem is that if you are consuming bcaa's during a period of physical activity they will be burned first by the muscle before anything else. The other 2 bcaa's are valine and lsoluecine, always something good to keep an eye out for. They can provide quite alot of muscle growth or quick energy thats up there with dextrose in absorption rates.

Oh and god bless creatine. Just remember to cycle off of it once in awhile.
