Default Will a change in the preferences folder cause a ctd?

i changed the FOG_OF_WAR:TRUE to FOG_OF_WAR:FALSE the other day, but the map still had the fog of war, so i changed it back to FOG_OF_WAR:TRUE. Could that have corrupted eb in any way? Because i want to know before i start a new campaign.

I think it only really applies to the major EB files, like the EDU, EDCT etc

i also deleted map.rwm recently and havent started a new campaign yet, and yesterday i updated with the permanent and optional fixes concerning the german building markers or something like that. , so should copy the new map.rwm into the sp game edu backup? Because the map.rwm that is there is from june 6th, before the newest permanent and optional fixes from yesterday were added.

map.rwm will regenerate itself automatically when you start a new campaign...

Type in toggle_fow in the command console if you want to remove FOW.
