Has anyone tried playing EB with Alexander.exe?
I've been reading about it but want some feed back.
Also, where can I download the game? Sega.com and totalwar.com seems to not have this game available for DL for USA.

Try ebay, or it's available on steam.
I have played whit it... as a matter of fact I'm still playing it :p
it's pretty cool in my opinion and it improves the game experience...but...well I'm not so sure anymore... since I want to play an historical campaign (Quintus' style) and I think its harder to the AI to expand by itself when playing on alx.exe (since they can recruit... and so their AI enemies)
Pros
-it definitely improves enemy battlefield AI (better tactics...Generals are not suicidal anymore)
not sure about campaign AI since I havn't been able to play
-night battles (are cool)
-enemy sea invasions
-supposed better stability and speed (I haven't really seen this but as I said before I haven't played that much , in fact I haven't even started a campaign )
-If you want more units you can add them whitout removing existing ones (I have aquilifers thanks to that)
Cons
-in order to have it succesfully updated you need to do a lot of manual work (in fact after every official update you will have to do the same changes manually)
-In my exp you can't play MP whit alx.exe (although I could be wrong :P)
-not sure if its the best .exe to have an historical campaign (not everyone cares about that)

I'm using it for the first time at the moment, and have had no problems so far. After ~160 turns I haven't had 1 CTD.
I'm playing as Getai, so haven't really been bothered by any naval invasions, but night battles are pretty cool. One thing I've found is that you might need to use the console to add this ability to FMs, as it doesn't kick in automatically until they get 5 or 6 command stars, which doesn't happen too often in EB (for reasons covered elsewhere).
Turn times seem a little quicker, but I've got a pretty new machine so they weren't that long anyway. I've probably gone from 20 seconds to 15 seconds between turns.
I actually found set-up quite easy. All of the files that need changing have been put into a single zip file, so it's just a matter of adding these to the relevant directories.
One balloon for not being Roman
do i have to do night battles with alexander.exe? any way to leave that out?

only if you want to of course...
@Apgad
how do you see AI behaviour? does it exapand faster or not a considerable difference between alx and rtw
well those files aren't updated (I'm pretty sure of , I could be wrong though) , and since when you unpack it into EB data it overwrites the whole text file ,not just the parts added, it can delete those updates, personally I have alex runing full speed and using TW fanatics /aquilifers/SoV/ darths .8 skin ,konny's trait mod and the latest scripts but it took me a lot of time to do it :P
