Default Modding question: generals in custom battles

This may be useful for others trying to participate in the video contest. I'm sure there is a way to mod in real family member generals into custom battles rather than the lesser generals/captains. I've tried to figure it out by looking at the EDU and the descr_model_battle but I can't seem to find the entries that determine the models for family members and mercenary generals. If I could find that, then I could just copy it over the entry for the hellenic lesser general in the DMB and that should do it I think. What file is this info located in?

My first post is probably just a little too confusing. All I'm trying to do is replace the lesser general/captain model with the family member/mercenary general model. Anybody know how I could do this?

You would have to replace the captain model altogether. Copy the family member model file(s?), paste them outside the folder, rename it/them to whatever the captain files are called and paste it into the captains folder. Back up all the files you use as well.

That's an idea, I had thought of that, but I couldn't seem to locate the files in the data folders. I looked in all the models* folders and couldn't seem to find any that matched. I'll look at them again sometime and see if I can figure out how to do that, but I figured that this must be changeable through configuration files somehow. Thanks for the idea though, strategos.

descr_character.txt Go to the entries of the captains and change the battle model for the captains to the same one as the general battle models (just copy and paste).
