Keeping it updated with new info and new pictures sounds like a good idea. I think a brief manual (including "don't forget to activate the script!") and/or a couple of guides would also be useful, and a link to the fix-topic. It always annoyed me that fix-announcement would crop up in places that could easily be overlooked by new players.
Oh, and no offense, but I think the team could use someone who looks after the stickied threads. The large number makes it hard for new members to see where to find information, and several of the topics are IMO redundant and could be unstickied. Two or three threads whose first posts are continually updated are far better than 15.
But wouldn't that take away the fun from seeing these traits for the first time in the game?
