In my current campaign, I'm trying to simulate a massive Parthian invasion of the Seleucid Empire so I was wondering if anyone knew the console command to move a character. Thanks.

move_character "first name last name" x,y
x,y are determined by the command "show_cursorstat." It will five the coordinates of the mouse.
If the army disappears, try repositioning the mouse in another clear spot and move them there. Always works for me.
Also keep in mind to avoid redundancies that cause crashes, the internal names of the characters are different than the ones on the map. For example, I tried moving "Captain Appivs" once. The command didn't work, so I tried "Captain AppivsA," "Captain AppivsB," "Captain AppivsC," etc. all the way down to "Captain AppivsK." (which is the last letter they go to and the one that happened to work) For Generals and FMs, you add the letter to the first name if it can't find their name. Make sense?

Ok, but what if the characters is a family member or an agent that doesn't have a last name?
Try the FM's only name in the command. For agents I find it easier to attach them to a captain, (a single cheap unit of whatever) zip the captain off to wherever and then disband the unit.
If he is Roman, good luck with move_character..their internal names are screwy..

The Gods envy us.
They envy us because we are mortal, because any moment might be our last.
Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed.
You will never be lovlier than you are now.
We will never be here again.
