    The Gods envy us.

They envy us because we are mortal, because any moment might be our last.
Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed.
You will never be lovlier than you are now.

We will never be here again.

Most characters without a last name have a hidden internal last name. Try using only the first name, but that probalby won't work. The hidden name is usually something to do with their faction. The Makedonia one is "ofmakedon". Look for similar in the "descr_names.txt"...

Sorry to hijack a thread, but I have another console question. Is there a way to shut off the limit to the number of troops on the battle field? I thought I read there was, but I can't for the life of me remember where.

There is, but not in the console.

Go to Rome - Total War\EB\preferences\ and open the "preferences.txt" with a (how obvious) text editor.

    Search for
    UNLIMITED_MEN_ON_BATTLEFIELD:FALSE

And - also obvious - change FALSE to TRUE

    UNLIMITED_MEN_ON_BATTLEFIELD:TRUE

Hah, thanks. So easy an ancient historian could do it. Thanks for the help.
