    Question Debug???

Ok... I installed EB 1.1 in a mod folder in rome - gold folder. Made shortcut to mod and it works.
Problem is that when I select country and start campaign, comes CTD. Ok, I read all possible threads about CTDs but didn't find anything related to this:

I tried to upload image, but all those idiot sites are either down or require spammy reqisteration.

This is what reads in popup I get soon after CTD:

"Debugger detected! - please close it down and restart!
Windows NT users: Please not that having the
WinIce/SoftIce software means that you are
    running a debugger!"

I have no clue what a debugger is. I have no clue what WinIce or SoftIce is. I have Windows XP.

I ran the validateinstall program and it found many missing files but I think it created them as there was bunch of 'added:' files too. It said I have corrupt install, but I think it's due to those missing files.

I can explain part of it by pointing out that Windows XP is, in fact, a version of the WinNT operating system. (As is Vista, btw.)

You need to restart your system before running EB. If the same error message occurs again, you need to check which programs are running automatically at startup. We'll tackle that only if it persists through a restart.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

Yep, it comes no matter how many times I restart.
I checked what programs there is in startup and couldn't find WinIce or SoftIce, so I must not have them in my CPU.

Download the tool here, install and run it, and show us the output. There are lots of other programs that it will disallow besides WinIce an SoftIce.
