You are right sir.I thought all units belong to slaves, guess I was wrong.So if I was to simply mod the EDU and add "slave" to spartan ownership,would it work?Or is it more complicated?

Why not just give them some highly experienced classical hoplites and normal greek slingers?

Well in case you hadn't done so yet; you should make sure that the descr_model_battle.txt entries are set up for 'slave ownership', so to speak; and for purely cosmetical reasons you should also copy over the neccesary GUI files (unit cards) to the appropiate directories.
EDIT: If you search these very forums you may find a thread started by Socy which touches the same subject (giving other factions access to units not available in 'vanilla' EB), there are some code examples of how to...

I have another question,but I'll just post it here instead of creating a new thread.Where can I see the possible ethnicity of marriage/adoption candidates for KH.For example, could I get a Thessalian or a Syracusan?
