Nope, any neutral and alliance ports. Seems kinda unrealistic, but thats the way it works since you would be taxing yourself if you could trade with yourself.

Actually, I assume its not the Monarch himself that does the trading, but that he's taxing the merchants. So it would make perfect sense to have internal trade.

Internal trade is taken care of (income from internal trade with trading post or merchant and no port), but I see your point.

Heres the way i look at it. You tax another faction to sell goods in your provinces. you also generate income from taxing goods going to another faction. once you own the province that goes away just like the real world. A state in the US would have taxed imports from Hawaii before they were a state. (hawaii would do the same in reverse) but now they are a "province" of the US and thats right out the window. we still tax stuff coming into hawaii, if its from say japan or china though. get it?

Yea.. but the traders are still traders dyes from constant to sedwedn regardless of who owns which province ... so ... wheres my money? Oh ... is that covered under local trade? all I know is that money goes way down when trade routes do the same ...

thats now local tax, but its much less. we would put a large tariff on bannans from hawaii before. but the merchants paid a local tax to the government in hawaii. now we own them. they pay that local tax to D.C. but there is no more tarriff charged when the bannas come to sandiego. product still moves, people still buy it but there is no tarriff. The buisness tax is now applied on the product and they pay federal and local tax as a price of doing business.

i hate tradeing i only seem to get about 50 florin from each proveince quite silly so i dont bother building them only in some provences also mines are a bit crap it costs 500 florin to buy and you get 50 florin a year i dont see the point i just buy farm upgrades and put high acumen generals as goveners and that raises it to about 900 + each provenice.

the mines you talk of would generate profits after only ten years and trading only makes money if you have people to trade with
its now uncommon to make several thousand florins from a single province mainly due to trade
