I was impressed that Ironsword's flowed along so nicely, even though he threw in words like "aspirant" and "bootstraps".

And I was also intrigued by "The Stranger's" entry. The images are so interesting that it is more like a picture painted than a poem.

Thanks for putting out a contest... writing is not natural to me, it is a little like climbing a mountain... a challenge. I only seem to write though when there is something at stake like, a deadline, or a mead hall award of fame :)

I hope to parry pens with you all again in the next contest for the masses.

you can be doubly proud :P u didnt just win, u bested the defending champ ;)

i actually like the second poem best, so you can see how much taste can differ :P
