Renaming a Faction

How do I go about renaming a faction just for the sake of role playing? Is this an easy thing to do? And will it affect my save game?

For example, I have defeated the athens and sparta as Macedon leaving Koinon Hellenon with just Rhodes and just for the fun of it I'd like to rename the faction Rhodes.. seeing as more than likely they will just remain in Rhodes the rest of the game.

I believe there is a ongoing Pergamon campeign in the AAR. There might be some clues there

Just their name or their colour as well?

Name is in Data\text\expanded_bi.txt. There's about 30 lines across the document where you need to change "Koinon Hellenon" to "Rhodes".

If you want to change the colour, it's in Data\descr_sm_factions.txt - every faction has a primary and secondary colour which are three-co-ordinate RGB codes. Google them to find the various alternatives.

I copied the idea of a number of others and changed the Ptolemies' yellow to gold, because it contrasts better with the Seleukid silver.

Also, if you want the Greek name Rhodos would do better.
