Siege units?

hello, i have a problem about selecting siege units. catapults or ballistas are not in the units list in my game, i saw them when i choose units randomly. look at this screenshot:

what should i do please help me

If you want to play a custom battle then use the EB multiplayer shortcut to start the game.

ok, then i couldnt see this siege units in campaign game, i couldnt create from a big city,i cant create this units., what should i do?

Do you mean you can't recruit them in a campaign or do you mean you can't recruit them in a custom battle?

that's right. i can only recruit them in custom battle with random army button. as you saw my screenshot, siege unit's image couldnt be seen.
i can recruit this siege units in multiplayer custom battle normally, but in single player i cannot. only with random army button.

Romans cannot recruit siege weapons initially. They need to conquer certain Greek cities (like Syracuse) to do so. After the Marian reforms they can recruit them in Italy, but if I understand the recruitment viewer correctly they then lose the ability to recruit them in Greece.

The single player mode is not meant for playing custom battles, only for the campaign and historical battles.
