V1.0 or V1.1?

Perphaps a noob question? I am having a new PC built and will be installing EB again.
I had so many good games from V1.0 on the go I didn't get around to V1.1.

Seen as I am a PC noob and don't know how to overwrite all those little hot fixes, which V1.1 has.
Is V1.1 stable without them? Or am I better off installing V1.0 until perphaps a V1.2 appears and self installs with the V1.1 fixes automatically included(unless a possible V1.2 will also require hot fix overwrites, but hey don't even think about it).

Both 1.0 and 1.1 require hot fixes to make them stable, so you may as well learn how to do it and at least attempt to install the hot fixes (it really isn't difficult). Basically the files come in .zip files so they can be opened with windows' own zip reader or thirdparty software. The files and folders inside install directly into the EB/data/ folder.

Try and try again. You may fail, but you will eventually succeed and learn something important along the way.
