Better say falarica than flaming pilum.

I knew the falarica, I am reading a book on the Punic wars and have read of the used falarica to Sagunto against Hannibal

but...............I have used the term " flaming Pilum" because I'm not sure that the Javelin used to Taranto against the elephants he is equal to the falarica that is much heavy one.

the falarica is an arm from siege launch from a position elevated to the low.

while the crews used against the elephants seem normal javelin heated, much lighter, and launch also from the low, not necessarily from elevated position.

Vegezio in its work of written military technique towards the 370 d.C.:

"The falarica is un' auction pierced with a vigorous iron in top, sulfur full load, resin, bitumen, and oakum instilled of incendiary oil, which, pulled with the fury of the crossbow, breaks off blankets and thrust oneself burning in the wood thick times set fire to the towers."

it would have to be the Mod that regards the wars between the Iberian tribes, not memory the name.

I hope also that the Falariche or flaming the pilum they come introduced in E.b.

but I would want that one distinguished between these two types of crews

Iberia: Total War, looking at the way they've done it makes it seem like it does indeed work on a "flaming + weapon" mechanic as you suggested (although I could only manage about thirty minutes of ITW before I crawled back to EB so I'm not 100% on that :p)

but what it is from modifying then? if not mistake in this version of E.B this is not already thus..... just? I have not still ended a campaign of e.b

Sorry what? They're not in EB already but I'm not sure what you mean can you rephrase your questions please?

No AFAIK they're launched by infantry units too in I:TW....

In EB archers, towers and many artillery have the option of firing incendary of flaming missiles. This is the basis of what i wondered about how they give them these options, hence the conversation about the "flaming + missile" which i bought up.

I havent looked at the code to see if they use something similar to what i mentioned but Overweightninja seemed to have found something about this in Iberia:Total War, despite the brief attention span he had for it .

I havent even looked at it myself but if you still are having problems then i will download it and see what i can find.
