Man, that was hard to choose just three -- I eliminated Tyler Durden, John McClane, Jack Sparrow, The Bride (Uma Thurman), and Elwood with only the greatest of reluctance.

Old Classic - Bruce Willis in Hudson Hawk. (Early 90's flick)
Damn I loved that movie.

Indy, Captain Jack Sparrow, and John McCLane.
I personally think Jack Burton should have been in there, but that's just me.

All us men suffer in equal parts, it's our lot in life, and no man goes without a broken heart or a lost love. Like holding your dog as he takes his last breath and dies in your arms, it's a rite of passage. Unavoidable. And honestly, I can't imagine life without that depth of feeling.-Bierut
It came to me just now, we don't have Sam in there, the Serious Sam of the FPS games!
The horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
There is no John Wayne or Jack Nicholson... Guess Elwood gets it for me

Where's Bogart? Surely the coolest of the cool. Play it Sam!
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.
Chow Yun Fat in Curse of the Golden Flower as the Emperor (especially at the end) has always struck me as one of the best (badass) parts an actor could play, just because of the sheer cruelty of his character. Darth Vader couldn't kill his only son, Chow Yun Fat killed all of his sons, his ex-wife, wife, and then some...

Adrian - you really haven't heard of John Woo or Chow Yun Fat?
Anyways, this:
Is very correct. Once Upon a Time in the West was a great movie, Harmonica would fit well up there.Or the Harmonica from Once upon a time in the West, he was so cool. A bit like Slevin actually
And do you have no Clint Eastwood roles?
And no Neo?

The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder
