Bulgarian Brigans ... does anyone use these guys? I mean it take so long to get to them (high on the tech ladder) that pav Arbs are available at the same level ... I never ussed the Brigands ... are they worth it?

none of those really fit, but I try to do what I can to keep soly calm.
Papa ... if u are serious about the oversized peasents just edit the unit size. As far as the shooting while moving horse archers yea ... but only available for some provinces where such horseman ship was known. Like the Soux ... huh?

ok maybe this aint a new unit but id like to see archers on the walls of castles....instead of a wall randomly shooting arrows....maybe if archer on wall got shot he could like fall of.....thatd be funny
Bulgarian Brigands are about the same as Trebizond Archers ... so atm they are not worth it.
I´am going to change them a little in my MOD ... will give them a Longbow (I hate that there is only 1 Unit with Longbows.) and change their required Building to Bowyer3 instead of Bowyer4.

Jaret thanks for the heads up and good idea about changing them to LB but even with that they still seem outdated even by bowyer3 ... maybe bowyer2?

It's not the size of the army that matters. It's how you use it.
I see stupid people....walking around like regular people....they don't even know they're stupid.
I am using a single bulgar brigands unit as mercs in my current campaign, but other than that I'd say their outdated...
The problem is, I think, that the only missle units that are really effective are arbalests. In the real medieval times the bow didn't get outclassed as easily I think, hence the variety of bow units.
New siege units - Rams and those tall moving sige towers troops used to get over castle walls - those would be very sweet.
oh yea, siege towers.... that would be stunning!
Anybody play lords of the realm 2? (I'm sure stronghold included siege towers, but I just refuse to play multiple medieval period games simultaneously)...
Those siege towers were so much fun... set em up, put em at the walls and lower their bridge while rushing your "MACEMEN FOWARD!"

Papa if the expansion doesnt have those it will be a failure in my eyes no matter what! You know the interesting thing is that MTW could dominate the Medieval games market by making siges really cool - its 3D views are much better than 2D views in stronghold. What about water ringing the castle - what were those called? Moats? What about siege earthworks for the siegers to hide behind? All these imrprovements arnt asking too much and would make MTW untouched compared to any other Medieval game.
