Thread: General Installation Issues (Could be my fault)

Question General Installation Issues (Could be my fault)

I read somewhere that you can install in program files directory without problems. But when I tried, it messed up my RTW, and when I double-click on icon it syas that Windows is searching for missing shortcut. No EB shortcuts are present either. This is v1.1, and I tried the various bugfixes, etc.
So I made a copy of RTW after reinstalling, and installed. Now EB will not get past the loading screen that says Europa Barbarorum Quid Barbarus Est Alio.
Then I get a popup saying thet Windows Virtual Memory is too low, and I get CTD.
I am just really really confused.

Then you need to increase the amount of virtual memory available to Windows.

In Windows XP you do this in Control Panel => System => Advanced => Performance (the button says "Settings") => Advanced => Virtual Memory (the button says "Change"). Choose a custom size and make it at least 2048 MB.

An alternative and better solution is to buy more RAM, it will also increase EB's performance tremendously. 2GB RAM is ideal for EB.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

When I try my computer says that the maximum is 748. DO I change the max? Cuz I see it is in a changeable text box.
