Default Where are my factional MICs?

    Hi All,

Whenever I take over a new city, I always install a Level IV gov. When the client ruler dies, I then replace it with a Level III. One generation later (~30yrs) I replace the government with a Level II.

I've now reach 182BC and I'm building a Level 1 government in Taras (90 yrs after its capture). The problem I've been having in the Italian peninsula is that I can't build any factional MICs outside of my starting cities. I've had the Polybian reforms (I know you only have MICs in 'starting cities + Segesta' in the Camillan period), so has anyone else experienced this problem before, and/or how do I fix it.

    Thanks

Have you been starting the campaign script?
Q: What is the "campaign script" and how do I load it?
A: The campaign script is the way EB mods much of the game to introduce new features and gameplay like seasons and stuff. Loading the campaign script is easy. As soon as you start a campaign, and every time after that when you load that game click on any one of your cities. An advisor will pop up telling you to click the "show me how" button. Do this. Now the advisor can be closed if it doesn't do so automatically. Advice does NOT need to be turned on for this to work.
Sounds like you haven't. If you haven't you'll need to restart your campaign. Next time pay attention to the advisor when he keeps popping up.

If you have been starting the script each time you loaded the campaign then all information about roman reforms can be found in the EB FAQ
Q: As the Romans, why can't I build factional MICs in X area.
A: The Romans can only build factional MICs in areas that contain Roman units. The area expands based on the reform level (see below). During the Camilian Era, you can build factional MICs in your starting cities plus Segesta. During the Polybian Era, you can build factional MICs in "Homeland" regions (Italy). During the Marian & Avgvstan Eras, you can build factional MICs everywhere, but have limited recruitment, based on the area.
We need some kind of stock response for this.

    Hi Foot,

Yes I do have the campaign script running (because of all the other reforms that have happened in the area; carthage, gauls, etc).

    Hi Konny,

Yes I do have the 'Polybian Reform' marker in Taras, Segesta, Bononia and Rhegion.

I have tried pulling down the 'allied barracks' in case it influenced the presence of the factional barracks but that did nothing. What would be the cheat code for buidling a Level 3 factional MIC in these cities?

Thanks in advance for your help (I should have put this thread in the 'bugs' forum)

Do you have a completed Type1 government in those towns?

There is no cheat code from making buildings, the only cheat option would be to write a script to do it.

Yep, the requirement is to have a completed Level 1 building, "pacification" alone is not enough, not even for the first level.
