    Default Invisible famly members

Playing Pontus, and It has been a hoot so far, I got a mission to capture Chessnoss(forgive spelling) city above sinope, was told to take a general there and some rebels would meet me there. The rebels joined me,and I seige the town, the next turn the stack disapeard ...then the stack turned up just above the town above rohdes but still invisible (getting belt tightening messages),then I got a crash to desk when I pushed end turn. When I reloaded the stack had gone, then 4 turns later a family member turned up in the middle Of the sulucid empire..new family member I had never seen before?

No the family member was 30,with my family name that popped up in enemy lands...the relocated stack was the strange one?....was thinking it was a screw up in the mission script?...the stack I had to bribe was part of the mission, then the character and stack reapeard 100 miles a way 10 turns later black hole like..but fully invisible I only knew they where there cause I got the belt tighting message, then I pressed go to charcter and It highlighted a empty square.

I was intrigued by this as well. At first I though it might have been an old build where the Senate gave missions to all players, but then I remembered that that wasn't true.

    Explain more please.

    This happened yesterday.

I've found I tend to get a CTD when a faction leader dies (in battle or in bed). My Lussotannan FL died of old age and sure enough CTD on the next battle. I re-loaded and his stack (with the new FL in it) was suddenly invisible but still laying seige to a reb city in Galicia. I ran another FM into the stack and bingo cloak was off again.

Maybe they had the "Klingon" ethnic trait?

Yes missions....No god talking to me,the adviser popped up and says the men of Chessnoss have been over run buy barbarians and have asked for aid..the script sugests sending a capable commander, and help will be waiting to the east of the town, wen My leader gets there a rebel stack pops up and will help me take the town for a small fee..I bribe the stack, comes with a character(looks like the level 4 gov kind of characters one word name)..and I seige chessnoss..then the next turn the stack disapears..and 3 turns later the stack turns up in asia minor but there still invisible(seriously no one else has ever got this mission playing pontus?)

The stack with FL and FH + 8 units was besiging the middle of the 3 northern Eleutheroi cities (the westernmost of the two Vasci cities, forget the name). The FL dies, and I start a siege assault...CTD. Restart the game, continue campaign, but where's his stack? The city still has a "seige ring" around it so I click on a nearby FM, then hit the arrow to move to the next stack and sure enough I get a red "highlight ring" around the invisible army, still in the same spot. I move the visible FM onto the invisible stack and all is revealed. No CTD's since then, but my FL is getting on.

I've also noticed CTDs when I slay an enemy FL in battle, but not every time.
