This is a quite shocking and unexpected departure. Beirut, in my eyes you were always one of the best contributers and mods. Always keeping this sub-forum pleasant and freindly. I remember you were just made assistant-moderator when I came to the frontroom. It seems like only yesterday, tough I guess it must be more than 2 or perhaps already 3 years ago. Therefore I mean it when I say that I shall also miss you around these parts. Hopefully you will drop by from time to time. Anyhow my best wishes and good luck to my favourite lumberjack!

Wow. I never thought I can be so sad that a near-stranger won't be talking to me any more for some time at least.

But, I have to say this:

Goodbye Beirut. You will be missed in these parts, especially in the Frontroom.

Axes, of all type, will never be the same again, be it in MTW or in real life. Beirut, on my personal part, I wish you all the best in the future, best wishes for your family too, for your axe, for your personal Floyd collection, and may we meet again if not on the Org, on a Flight Simulator XI online server, each with his own lovely Cessna.

Thank you very much Beirut for what have you done for the Org. The entire community will surely miss your warnings, jokes, axe again, but most of all, your cheerie spirit.

I don't know anymore if I'm the weirdest on this forum, but I know where my weirdness comes from. Your unorthodox goodbye had me roflmao (damn... haven't used that in like? all my life!). Goodbye again, my dear Beirut, my RealLife be good upon you! If you're having a hard time, call the Undutchables or step by in The Stranger's Weedshop. You know where to find it when the time is right. I'm definitly going to miss your axe, which you always threathened my with, or the whip which you always hit me with, or the admin shortened lease you always choked my with... come to think of it... WTF!!!
