    Unfortunately not.

    Welcome to the Org, ariel16b!

Cynwulf is unfortunately correct. MTW/VI cannot be played in windowed mode.

It is possible to run in a sorta windowed mode by adding D in the shortcut command line. But you have to switch to 16 bit color and the resolution is AFAIK fixed at 640x480. Overall it is not that good.

I've been searching, ariel16b, but it doesn't look too hopeful. You can get window resizers but they won't do. I'm still searching....

What are you wanting to do that only a windowed mode would accomplish? Most of the time when I have to interrupt a game in progress, I just quicksave, pause the game, and ALT-TAB back to the Desktop. Then I can take care of whatever caused the break, and resume shortly thereafter.
