    Default Modeling skining Etc

    I hear the terms modeling skining animating alot, what exactly do they involve and how would i start doing any of them.

    To make a unit model you have to use a 3d animation program to shape a three-dimensional group of polygons into something resembling a human, and then make images which are "skinned" to this model (which is to say they are applied to the surface area of your polygon-man to make it look real. Like painting a statue).

    I don't know if animations are programmed into the game and can be applied to any model or not. If not, the model must be animated with the program you used to make it (if you have a good program) in a way that makes it appear natural. The whole process requires a lot of time and artistic talent.

    If you're really interested, look into programs like Blender or Wings3d.

    Thanks, do i have to use specific animating programs with rtw or can use any.

    As far as I know, any 3d modeling/animation program will make shapes that work in RTW.
