after months of not playing EB, due to other games and time restrictions, i have decided to go back to EB and continue my getai AAR.
i played a custom battle last night, and i cant believe how much i missed out. the depth, the accuracy, the gameplay.....
i think i started to cry over the time i missed EB.
3 cheers for the EB team on a wonderful mod!

M2TW is nice, but it just doesnt cut it....
kinda got bored of BF2142, so it looks like im back in black!

I have also played EB for (almost) the first time today.
It was awesome, and on alex.exe it was even better.

I too have "cheated" on EB this summer... I am playing "Sword of the Stars" which is like total war in space. One late night I loaded up EB though, and it was better than I remembered. My well trained veteran troops responded like a polished cohort as I annihilated 2 stacks of Carthaginian elites. Then I used diplomacy to give the Gauls central Italy, and create problems for everybody in the region, allowing me (KH) to profit from the chaos. Those were the best two hours of gaming of my entire summer... I am just disciplined enough to try to finish out my SOTS campaign before the season is over. When school starts next week (I am a teacher, not a student), I will only have time for one game... EB!

What is it about July that makes people want to come back to EB? That's about 3 people in a week!
