EB players : what is your M2TW preffered mode?

Hi all !

I enjoy so much playing EB that I'd love to find something like that in medieval game.

What are your preffered mods for Medieval 2 Total War, the mods that give the same kind of feeling as EB : Historic precision, unit diversity, good balance and HUGE map to conquer

errrr... EBII? Lulz. I Dunno Really, MiNO is a bit iffy, but i think there's some good mods out there.

Dues lo Vult or Stainless Steel.

Stainless Steel = Balanced overall gameplay

Dues lo Vult = Some realistic aspects, plus more role playing than you can sink your hands into

Broken Crescent was the only mod for M2TW that kept me playing for any length of time.

There aren't any. Broken Crescent, Deus lo Vult, and Stainless Steel are all good mods, but still boring and "lite" feeling compared to EB.

I play Broken Cresent and PDER, I just wish i could combine the two into the perfect mod, the amazing models of Broken Cresent and the depth with PDER's europeanness

"PRO DEO ET REGE" looks neat as well, although I can barely bring myself to play mods without the RealCombat mod included- I once modded the DLV units to be similar, with some changes of my own, which was fun but I never want to do again. As it is, militia are grossly overpowered, armor is completely undervalued (why the hell would anyone have even bought it if crappy militia archers could really mow down plate armored knights at the rate they do with vanilla stats?), etc.

I may try out PDER as well, BC is the only one I ever really play now, but it would be nice to actually get my $50 worth of of the disappointment that was M2. Needless to say, Empires can sit on the store shelves for all I care, unless the EB or Broken Crescent teams make an incredible mod for it (when it either costs $20 to buy, or comes in a "Gold" pack with all addons for $39.99).

BC is the best mod for MTW 2.
for kingdoms i will want for BC II and EB II to make my decision.

Stainless Steel is the only mod to hold my attention for the TW series apart from EB. However I'm still playing EB1 so go figure :|

TLR was the only reason M2 didn't go the ebay route for me. That was the best of the first wave of mods for the game.

Seriously though, my 2ghz processor pretty much ruins any enjoyment in m2.

Also I dont have kingdoms.
