To sum up the results: (a) you have installed some EB add-ons such as the Recruitment Viewer or Trivial Script; (b) you use the French version of RTW, not the English one which was used to create the checklist -- which in turn is used by the validation tool. There has been another report of problems with the French localisation, there ought to be an older thread about the (same?) problem.

EDIT: Here ya go: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=103008. Seems like the solution is to install the English versions of the game. Patches should offer language selection by default; choose English UK or sth. It won't make much of a difference (assuming the French version were to work too) when using EB what language pack is used for Vanilla; as all virtually all text displayed on screen is in English anyways (because part of the mod), AFAIK only some of the sounds which will be different...
