more suitable upkeep???

just a thought,for:

Iberian infantry(Spain and Carthage)=7 attack,2 charge bonus,8 defense=2 armor,4 defense skill,2 shield.Cost 240,170 upkeep.

Scutarii(Spain)=9 attack,13 missile attack,4 charge bonus,12 defense=5 armor,2 defense skill,5 shield.Cost 430,140 upkeep.

ain't the iberian infantry deserve 140 upkeep more than scutarii??Or both deserve 140 upkeep?

plz give some opinion so i can mod my game.....

Barbarian units generally have a lower upkeep. That's to balance them against the civilised factions, as barbarians cannot develop to get more income.

But Iberian Infantry is also Spanish ain't they, I think that's the point Guneaiwolf is trying to make.

Personally, I'd swap the upkeep around because Iberian infantry are pretty poor, whereas Scutarii are pretty effective medium infantry for the Spanish. In the end I developed my own upkeep/recruitment cost system that depended on the quality of the unit and it's equipment.
