the kypchak looked at the makurian representative erratically

eh? what did you say, i think i caught some of it, if i understood correctly then i agree, actions speak louder than words, once more while the ayyubids want to make it clear who the true aggressors our, i realize he ignores that the 'great' seljuks have aggressively attacked georgia, so if they are still in your golden crescent pact, then it begs the question, if you defend an aggressor, you cant be peaceful yourself

Can you blame us for being frustrated when we hear such things as 'wars inevitable, why bother waiting another half-year or so, the only thing that is stopping a full scale war is pride'?

Let all here know that the Ayyubids have not, and will not raise a hand in aggression against another nation.

    Your response pleases us, Quttub.

I see that some of my allies in the Western Coalition are indeed overstepping the boundaries of civility and into the realm of aggression. I would ask my Kypchak neighbors, in the name of Roman-Kypchak relations, to speak softly and carry a big stick.

Surely none threaten the mighty Kypchak confederacy, especially with Rome by your side. However you put Rome in a difficult position of having to apologize for and explain your actions.

I would warn my Western Coalition friends against such naked aggression, for it undermines our legitimacy as a moral, sovereign power. Should any begin a war without reason, they lose their rights in this league of nations.

i would like to make it clear that i am 100% behind the kingdom of jerusalem, i understand rome are keeping a balanced council, but i think they should be more clear about there wants themselves, we can mask it behind false words, but wars inevitable, why bother waiting another half-year or so, the only thing that is stopping a full scale war is pride and not being masked as the 'aggressor' well the way i see it and how were acting were all aggressors, and i think if the indians knew what fools attended this council, they'd be glad they never came, lucky them for not being plagued with this racket!
I was referring to this, when I was talking of my allies' aggressive stance.

I do NOT believe war is inevitable here. I have tried my best to form a peace with the Golden Crescent Alliance, and have mobilized my forces to defend the Western Coalition if necessary. I've formed an alliance (albeit a shaky one) with the Ayyubid leader in order to cool tensions.

Brothers of the West, my efforts will all be for naught should our alliance be the first to strike. We have every right to retaliate, however we should not be aggressors. I will respond to diplomatic aggression from either side with a statement of disapproval, followed by a warning, followed by the severing of diplomatic ties. I have made it very plain; those who do not follow the path of peaceful words will fall upon the blade of a Roman sword.

Were we attacked by anyone, Rome would immediately declare war against our enemies. If allies send aid to the enemies of our states, they also would be war combatants in the eyes of Rome. But actions are necessary to respond to; threats and poor diplomacy can be overlooked, excused, ignored, or warned against. Let us not start a war with words, my friends; let us only end a war started by our enemies, with swords.

I do not mean to single you out, my Kypchak friend. Surely, relations between Rome and Kypchak could not be better. However, Rome does prefer our allies not prompt wars with words. Careful diplomacy could allow us to keep our troops at home where they belong.

That makes the difference between Dogs and Men. Dogs simply believe that things are impossible, and will never learn.

Men though, Try the most un-certain. And if they achieve, They set a single star withen the Sea of stars of what men has done for accomplisments.
