XL Mod in combination with MTW Gold?
Hey!
Ik have the gold edition and I wanted to try the XL mod, so I downloaded it and installed it but it doesn't seem to work? Is it compatible with the gold edition or is there a special version I should download? Or is there simply something I'm doing wrong while installing?

Did you simply install the Gold Edition and then XL? If so, you should visit http://www.totalwar.com/, go to the support section of Medieval, and download the 2.01 patch, which is a .exe you copy over the original Gold .exe. Also, when you install a modification, ensure it is pointed to the main folder you have Gold installed to - e.g. for me it is F:\Medieval Total War - Gold Edition. I don't have it tucked away into any subfolders beyond that.

Some versions of MTW Gold require a special 2.01 patch in order for mods to work. You can go here to download it; just make sure to follow the installation instructions as listed.
