Sorry for messing up with the saves. It was early in the morning and I only read the OOC comment portion of YLCs report and saw that it mentioned 1136. So I assumed he didn't do anything with the actual save. I promise to be more careful next time, although it would help if you wouldn't upload hypothetical saves into the Megas thread.

I still need to write a story which is several game years overdue and I need to write a report for that battle. Then I'll take a (hopefully short) break from LOTR.

Gah, I knew that battle was pointlessly risky from the very beginning. The best thing to do would have been to attempt a night attack which would prevent the garrison from joining the battle. I could easily beat the field army in a 1 on 1 fight. Then I would have besieged Medina and taken it after the Magnaura session without a problem.

Unfortunately, I've always imagined Solomon to be very hotheaded and just a bit greedy so I decided to try and grab the province this turn by killing both armies.

Err, so, I wrote a long thing about Vissa's capture of Dongola and it got eaten during a crash. I doubt I'll have the will to write it again, so FYI Dongola was occupied, but V is still off the deep end.

I know this is a moot point since soon the new Army rules will be in effect, but what is the point of me making a SoT like this.

When it gets completely ignored for the second time now?


Edit: Better add some clarification. I am not mad about this and I know that problems like these are the very reason we got rid of these complicated rules. I think considering the vast amount of data and regulations to sift through PK has done a wonderful job at being Megas and I don't want this to become a big deal. I just felt irritated when reading the current Megas thread. That's all, no hard feelings involved.

You told me you wanted Lisas to get a private army around Trebizond. I did so. I even recruited units to make up for what I took out of Sinop.

The idea that I am supposed to create and gather a private army in one turn, plus somehow not take anything out of anyone's settlements, just doesn't make sense.

I'm at the point where I don't really give a good whether I get punished IC or OOC.

You guys have no idea how happy I will be when this term is over...

I must admit that I did a happy dance once I finished my own term. Being Megas is tougher than it looks.

Yes, anyone and everyone who has complained OOC absolutely must play a term as Megas.

This whole, "do what I say but obey my SOT perfectly but what I say could be an exception to the SOT except when it isn't" game has to end.

If the new army CA does not pass, I will feel very sorry for the next person who even thinks of being the Megas. If I knew I would have to deal with the OOC flack that I have dealt with this term, I would have never considered running. I have broken exactly one rule the whole term and that had to do with helping an avatar. IC flack I don't mind. But this whole "your doing a great job but what I saw irritated me" thing is "slightly" confusing.

Since Andronikos Komnenos is a major family member, he will not be killed off. He will be teleported to Constantinople and stored there until someone take him or he dies of old age. Since he will not be played by anyone, all MotH offers that have him as the adopter will be automatically accepted until someone else takes him.

There appears to be a lack of interesting Mafia games coming up. If I cut back on those then I'll have plenty of time to do real life stuff and still play LOTR.

I'd like to rejoin as Andronikos if that is possible.
