Be aware that you run the risk of being confronted with a sally..

Which is why I didn't lay siege.

I moved Rowan and NN according to their wishes. Which is funny because where Rowan wanted to be then got sieged. So now Bart is trapped in Antioch with Mak. The Templars have been so peaceful for so long that I never expected them to do this.
Hah, the AI can really surprise us sometimes. PK. be careful with Bart when you sally, he's got -2 HP from the sickness traits.

PS. Last weekend, I built a trebuchet.

I'll try but it might be dicey. I basically have two choices. Either sally now or wait for the assault. If I sally, it will only be with what the Order can scrape together in one turn. If I wait, there is a chance the AI won't assault. But if they do, then we'll be stuck in the city. I rather sally and get out in the field where we can charge.

I'll do what I can with Bart to keep him alive. Mak has HP coming out of his ears so I'll make him do the tough stuff. The army is big but I think 4 RBG's and some assorted units can beat it. The Templar army is really low quality. They don't even have missile troops. Mainly a lot of pilgrims, peasants, and spearmen. Some mounted sergeants and a general round it out.

The plan is to hit the general and knock him out early. Then pepper the spears with arrows while charging the pilgrims and peasants. Try to get a chain rout going.

If I win, I'll shove the spy into Tortosa and try to take it quick in order to knock the Templars out as a faction.

Awesome... I hope you took pictures.

Remember, no charging spearmen from the front and don't melee with the enemy general.
And make sure he's got his warm clothes on.

You need bad years to balance out the good years.

The Order will get through this. Mak might not, but the Order will.
