    Thaatu has a great caption. One could almost mistake the screenshot for some kind of RPG Third-Person-game where one plays the uber shiny general who is about to slaughter all the troops in front of him, seeing the target of his quest on the giant mountains up ahead.

    Okay, I go a bit far there

    And I don't know if you retouched the picture, but the "Blinking-in-the-sun"-Effect on spear tips and armor looks really good

    Ok here's mine. No hope of competing but winning isn't why I post em: "Battle of Isthmus of Korinth, 229 B.C."

    From my Pontic campaign, Epeiros had taken advantage of Makedonia's losses to me in the Peloponnese, and had taken over central and northern Greece. Epeiros took Athens away from me, and attempted to capitalize on my disorganized state of things by sending an army to Korinth. This army of mine was the smaller sized of the two armies that fought at the Isthmus of Korinth, there to block and stop Epeiros' advance. Being backed up against the sea, my locally-raised Hellene phalangites stopped the marauding Epeirote army, though with 42% casualties taken.

    -Altering the pictures are ok, but don't go overboard
    I assume "overboard" means using heavy Photoshop filters like "Mosaic" or such things which usually cripple every picture.

    Here's mine, it's from a custom battle against the Romans (I'm Makedonia). I snapped this shot and I noticed something funnt there, just wanted to share it with the rest;

    Maybe turning your back against sarissa's isn't a good idea...

    Now that you mention it, there was something to the Romans in that battle. I have another picture from that battle where a Pedites Extrordinarii dodges a spear by ducking forwards in his charge - almost like he's trying to do a Zidane on the hoplite.

    deep fried, eh? I'd personally call it "kentucky fried phalangites". its only the natural result of deep frying evolution on chicken quisine, why not phalangites?

    Ships are visible in RTW if you have ships near the battle zone on the campaign map. That's a stock feature.

    E.g. if you land your troops and have a battle directly at shore, you see a group of ships in the background (it's a pity they can't give offshore artillery support, that would be cool , having some catapults or ballistae bombarding the battlefield )

    Originally there. I had them stationed there in case my army got wasted and had to retreat to the ships(so I could transport them quicker) to where I might need them. Turns out, didn't need the ships after all.

    EDIT: Though, with the way I had my troops situated, they either had to win or they'd be meeting the ferry-man.

    Sarcasm, I'm not an idiot. It doesn't matter if you split it in two. The first part is famous, the second, I could only find on the boards.

    So here I go with a screenie. Take it as OUT of competition! (It's not original 1.1 EB anymore, massively cropped.) So just for enjoyment!

    Let's give him the following name : "the party". (What?! This is not original?! Oooh! )

    Kind regards
