Battle GUI

I started playing EB about three days ago and have been loving it. Today I switched the unit size from Huge down to normal and after doing so the gui on the battle screen changed and I can't figure out how to get it back. Previously all the commands, pause buttons and mini map were on the bottom of the screen but now all the commands are gone and the mini map is on the top right and now about twice the size it was. I changed the unit size back but it still looks the same. Any ideas on why this is and how to revert it back to the old gui?

Go to Start-All Programs-Europa Barbarorum-Preferences and untick minimal UI.
