    Default CTD during loading screen

Hey I just installed EB 1.1, and tried to start it up, but could not get past the initial loading screen. I installed EB into the same folder as my backup copy of Rome (as per the instructions of another thread) fully patched with 1.3 and 1.5. This is the second time I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything, so that's not the problem. I have tried many times to run the mod, but every time I just crash to desktop. I just used the validate install tool, and this is what I got:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: europabarbarorum/Vali
    dateInstall
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: europabarbarorum.ValidateInstall
    at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
    at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
    at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source)
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(Unknown Source)
Validation is complete. There should now be a new file called
"ebValidationResults.txt" in this directory. However, if you're running
Vista and have installed RTW/EB under PROGRAM FILES, it probably won't.
In fact, if so you're very likely to run into trouble later because of
that placement. Make sure you have installed RTW/EB anywhere else.
Press any key to continue . . .

I hope someone knows why I am crashing to desktop; I really want to play this mod!

    Thanks!

Apparently the actual validation doesn't work for you. I have no idea why it won't find the class, it's right there in eb.jar. But it has happened for several others already.

Did you try all the other suggestions in the validation sticky?

Well I just found the source of the problem. Was mostly a low RAM issue, but thanks for your help anyway!
