Default Eyes tired and oh well

Hello guys. Its not OMG Teh end of teh world is tonight!!!!, but I am having eyes problems... this time its serious.

It happened yesterday at night. I was watching some Youtube videos when I noticed that the words of the comments were "splitting" and then joined toghether. I knew this was going to happen, but wasn't expecting it. I went to the profesionel of the eyes(cannot recall right name in english) and he said me: He will be fine months without lens. Looks like I will need to use them.

F***. What else? Braces, asthma respirators, and now lens???? Everyone say that everything will start to be ok again, but doesnt look like my case. I'm not sure if I'm hoping to be blind or something, its just MY FUCKING LIFE.

Dang. I just hate this kind of situations. I know that Im not the only one, but I mean: Having used braces (TWICE), using asthma respirators (and I have had 2 asthma attacks), now lens. Some say the human body is perfect, but they have to see me and tell me if they are right with me.

If you're lucky you could get either Lasik eye surgery and get it corrected, contacts, or pull out your eyeballs and give them to a Mummy, and then apply for disabilities. Besides, you'll grow out of it.

You can always try to be like this awesome guy. Amazing.

I assume you mean you have to wear lenses? Without any further nasty stuff, like slowly losing all sight or some weird stuff? That's really not such a big deal! I'm helpless without them, and perfectly fine with them.

And braces, twice. Mate, that means that your parents can afford good dental care.

Alas, the asthma is a real drag. Pity, and I'm sorry for you. As to the rest, try to cheer up a bit. Neither are the end of the world. You're not falling apart. You have some inconveniences. Old people fall apart. Me, for example. Last year I got a new hip, and the year before, when I turned 84, I got this nasty bowel disease and currently I've got these prostrate problems and

Maybe I misunderstood you, but, if you have eye problem, then spectacles would do as well as lens and stuff..........ofcourse eye surgery is always an option but it's too drastic a step to take........

If its any consolation i have been trying to get to sleep since about 6am (its 13.40 now) and have been kept up by very painful toothache, know that i have finally got some painkillers in me and the pains dying down i want to goto sleep but i have a dentist appointment at 16.00, only a check up though i will have to wait longer before something is done, at this moment i think i would happily have the offending tooth/teeth removed...

That brings up bad memories. That happened to me once, but when I woke up after finally getting to sleept, there were a huge white bubble of Pus covering my whole lower right gums. Basically, one of my teeth had a minute hole that allowed bacteria to get in, but not pus to get out so it had to go out through my gums. Had to get a root canal done on that tooth too.....bad memories....

Sounds well nasty, and quite possibly something that could happen to me which is why im glad i have got around to booking that dentist appoitment, im a bit of an insomniac anyway so the toothache just made it twice as bad getting to sleep...

I have heard root canals are very painful (though i remain hopeful that my mum is just a wuss when it comes to pain) and i think ill probably be having one booked after my appointment today...

They're not too bad since you get anesthetics which numbs everything out, but I swore that I could still feel some stuff and it did hurt some, especially when they're getting out all of the nerves/blood vessels in the tooth

I have had slight pain before when having a filling despite the anesthetic, most of the time it is fine but occasionly they'll be drilling away a bit of the top of the tooth (im guessing thats what they do) and they have a hit a really sensitive part of the tooth, usually i just lie there with my eyes closed and try and let my mind drift off..... though i may fall asleep if i try that today...

I think we're kind of hijacking the thread, but oh well

Actually, the most pain I've ever had with dentists is with braces. No anesthetics at all and I required this special type of wire to be put on that is EXTREMELY painful. By the time they were finished, I was covered with sweat and couldn't eat anything for 3 days. This wasn't even my first time too, it was a year into it when I've gotten used to the normal pain that new wires gives you

Braces are ridiculous, and I've had them twice.

It's not like I can do anything about them, except wear a retainer and hope that they don't move to much. The worst is the first days, when I tried to eat a sandwich. Even the softest white bread would send sparks of pain through my mouth! Ugh.

I couldn't tell if she was counting teeth or work that needed doing at first, but then she skipped some so she was counting work that needs doing.... 13!! things need doing, i haven't got a clue what M O Carees or M O Buckley (something starting with Bu) is and i think there was a B O or D O Carees and buckley in there as well, im going to work on the assumption she would have told me if it was anything major like an extraction, so assuming my assumption is right fairly good news.... i plan to get my teeth capped within the next 5 years anyway so im not really worried about the state of my teeth in terms of looks, just the pain....

Thankfully i only had to wear one of those removable braces which had a wire going along the top of the teeth line, so it wasn't noticeable and i could take it out whenever i wanted.... though i was supposed to keep it in mainly i would take it off to eat and sleep, its just not the same eating with no feeling at the top of your mouth..... and im an insomniac so a brace would have just been another thing stopping me sleeping...

Well as for the OP, you will grow out of the braces and the asthma, so then its just your eyes to worry about.

But then you can't expect to not have any health related problems.

Meh. Sorry if I don't sound sympathetic about the eyesight, but I've needed corrective lenses since I was seven years old. The asthma sucks though, and I was at least fortunate enough to be born with straight teeth.

Lasik eye surgery is pretty good, but it can fail and also: You can't see at night, you still have to wear glasses.

    So, doesn't work.
I recently put contact lenses on because of 3 reasons:

    1. For sports. I can see everything much better, plus if you play at night, its invaluable. I had to play sports without glasses, and it was a pain.
    2. Practicality. It might be easy to put glasses and go, but I dont have to avoid every time being hit (every pair of glasses I had, had to repaired at least 4-5 times)
    3. I look WAY better without glasses.

Asthma sucks, I hate it when I cant breathe properly. For teeth, mine are pretty straight, and they look good, so no problems.
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

Youre not the only one, Caius! My right eye is bad, I have a tooth that is 90 degrees (i forget the symbol) of where it is supposed to be, seriously, the damned thing is sideways, ad it is pushing another one outwards (but at least that leaves up suffecient room for the wisdoms, which are coming in relatively pain free). Also, my depth perception is off...seriously...it sucks...

Also, I am allergic to mosquitos, and I am their prime target! People stick near me to be avoided by skeeters, as they are busy biting me! GAH! IT FRICKEN ITCHES!!! (And I am now out of calamine lotion...need some more...) When they bite me, I swell up like a baloon, and my skin gets all red.

    Okay...I am done complaining now...

As for you, Contacts should be very good, and you have my sympathy when it comes to the asthma.

Oh, this might be relevant. I am currently not moving much, for my foot is very sore. When I do move, I use a dmaned crutch...ill tell you, those are a pain in the ass. Last week, I stepped on a 4 inch nail stuck in a 2 by 4...barefoot. Went clean through my damn foot, and I for one am glad it missed the bones. Bled like hell though, and I never thought Id yell like that. Ill tell you one thing about having a nail through your foot...it doesnt tickle.
