m2tw campaign wont start

hey hey,

I just reinstalled m2tw and then the 1.2 and 1.3 patches. Now when I go to start a campaign it keeps going back to the choose game screen. The custom, tutorial and historical battles work but for some reason it won't let me play the campaign. any ideas why? thanks!

I'm not quite sure, but maybe you have to finish the tutorial first. That's how it worked in Rome. You could try changing the values in the medieval2.preference.cfg file for first_time_play and tutorial_battle_played to "0" and "1" respectively. I'm sure less speculative advice will soon come from other members.

thanks for advice. i went and bought the kingdoms expansion (i hadnt yet), unistalled and did install of all of it and now it works. yeah!
