DO you guys think the tech tree will allow for excotic weapons such as the Ferguson rifle? Or just stick to the predominant weapons?

I read there are steam ship in one of the interviews. Not iron clads though

CA have stated that it will be quite possible to discover technologies earlier than there were invented in real life if you put enough emphasis on research, so all bets are off really. I suspect anything up to 30-40 years after the end of the period has a fair chance of sneaking in.
