no joy there i am afraid,
the card settings listed above are it's "recommended default " settings for medieval TW,
so Nvidia obviously think the game should be playable.
thank you, but those threads did not help (they're for older versions of nvidia cards).
has anybody had a good rummage through the settings and got the game going?
Northnovas found that setting the antialiasing to 2x got past an nVidia problem, but I'm not sure which card he had. You could also try the next/prev button BIF solution found
here.
well we are making some progress,
Battles are the problem
i can actually SEE the units on the battlemap (thanks to whacker),
and the screens are no longer flickering (thanks to drone's findings)
BUT
the mouse/cursor is still not mapped to the battlefield
i cannot actually select any units by putting the cursor over them,
it never registers that they are there,
AND even if i select them from the pics down the bottom edge of screen, when i click on the field they units go somewhere else entirely
all meaning the mouse is not being mapped correctly
Here's the original
thread with
peter_de123's BIF button fix.
Kaidonni had been looking into the same problem you are having now, he was able to control units from the radar map, but that's not very ergonomic. I'm not sure what's been going on since. Is it possible to replace the cursor graphics?
