First off: I'm pro abortion up to I'd say 20 weeks. My enthusiasm does significantly drop off after 12 (c'mon! 3 missed periods - isn't this a slight clue???)
But what is the logic of these extreme end of pregnancy abortions being legal?

An enemy that wishes to die for their country is the best sort to face - you both have the same aim in mind.
Science flies you to the moon, religion flies you into buildings.

If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain.
The best argument against democracy is a five minute talk with the average voter. Winston Churchill
Alright, let me preface my post by saying I am undecided on third trimester abortions (though leaning illegal except in the usually excepted cases - ie rape). I believe that the rationale behind it is the same as the rationale behind being pro-choice in the first place. Regardless of the age of the foetus it is still undeniably the woman's body and her reproductive rights. Hence, the woman still may do as she wishes with the foetus because it isn't anyone else's right to do so.

Settle.. it was a joke...
There, I've removed it. I would appreciate if you and EMFM did as well.
EDIT: Let me make it obvious - I bear no grudge against Catholics, I know several myself. Its just that most of the misogynists I have met in teh past have also been Catholics, perhaps leaving me with the wrong impression of the church. I apologise to anyone who was offended... I really do feel bad about it.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
