The unofficial thread to discuss your guitar, your equipment, your amps, and your techniques.

I'll start off.

Sunburst Squire Stratocaster, red pick guard, three pickups, whammy bar, 1 volume control and 2 tone controls for 1st and 2nd pickup (typical Strat), plugged into a Peavey 10 watt 6.5" Speaker, which I also use for my bass.

If you are truly interested in learning guitar, I suggest getting a fair priced Fender acoustic at your local guitar store. Don't waste money on an expensive electric, amps etc. if you may not use it.

A fender standar telecaster (my precious, when performing on stage or at home ), London City II Spitfire black (This one I use at bandpractise and stuff). And my first electric guitar was a viva, 1993. I bought it for about 75€, 2nd hand. I don't use it that much anymore (it needs some fixing and it doesn't sound as good as the other. Except for playing Jimi, one reason or another that one sounds very much a like.) I also have classic spanish guitar (don't ask me the details my old guitar teacher chose it) and a kiddo classic guitar (same here).
Pedal: BOSS - GT 8 & BOSS MD 2 Mega Distortion. (I had too much money and the name Mega Distortion sounded good...)
Amps: MArshall MG10CD (40 Watts) for at college and stuff.
Line 6 spiderjam, for playing around at home (this way I can leave my pedals at the place we do band practice (to bad our band quit... Now I have an amp to much. Oh well I gonna ba playing in a new someday.
And a Marshall DSL401.

Then my sister has also an Ibanez bass guitar and quite an nice bass amp too. Don't knows the details, the only thing I know is that I'm the one using it lol!

Guitar:

Some Asian wannabe Les Paul.

Your equipment:

Zoom GFX-5. All the effects one could possibly hope for in a single machine.

Your amps:

Marshall tube amp, vintage JCM 800 lead series.

Your techniques:

My style rests on three pillars:
1 - Volume. Lots of it.
2 - Extensive study of Finnish air guitar techniques.
3 - Cool hair cut.

Epifone SG, plugged into a Crate practice amp. Crappy hairstyle necessitating baseball cap. Crappy playing necessitating lotsa "fuzz" (and usually headphones to keep the neighbors from storming with pitchforks and torches).

Kukri, call me crazy, but that looks more of a Les Paul body.

Good eye, SwedishFish.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

I cited the wrong axe in the photo earlier. The SG (gifted to me by a friend) is the red guy.

I have a Fender Squire Strat, though I rarely play it now-a-days.
