I'm going to UNI. First year.

Planning on 5 years of accounting, like Kush, in order to obtain a master's degree.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

Your uni is UNI? Far out.

American University. Had a rough start, but after a couple years off course I am working towards a Literature major with the intention to follow up with a Master's program in Print Journalism.

Gonna be the new Hunter S. Thompson.

Wesleyan was one of the few eastern schools that I seriously considered applying to - goodness knows they expended a fair amount of effort trying to get me to come. I think I shied away, though, if for no other reason than that I would have felt horribly provincial, being just a "bum yokel" from the rural Midwest. (Not a very good reason, I know.)

All right, I have to ask the smartass question: Are your grades that good, or are your parents that loaded? Or is it (hopefully) both?

Four stage strategy from Yes, Minister:
Stage one we say nothing is going to happen.
Stage two, we say something may be about to happen, but we should do nothing about it.
Stage three, we say that maybe we should do something about it, but there's nothing we can do.
Stage four, we say maybe there was something we could have done, but it's too late now.
