The funny thing about me is that I am a sex junkie. I really do believe I am addicted to sex but I have never done it before, crazy. Though I came very very very close, A relationship I had 4 years ago now, my first ever relationship, we were naked, we were both there and ready and she just looked at me and asked "Do you want to, Sarathos?" now no respect to my lovely ex-girlfriend, but it just felt wrong somehow. I think back now and kick myself because I will never know what it is like but I know I made the right decision in saying no because if i did say yes, although it would of happened, I know I would of regretted it.

We did do quite a bit of other stuff though, I must say we were nervous but we were comfortable with each other so it was ok.

4 years on and I have met another super fantastic woman and it is fast approaching our 1 year anniversary. I am very respectful and have no plans on doing it at all really, but if it happens, I know it will be right.

I do believe it helps if you are with my right woman, thats what I think anyway. I don't really regard 'it' as much but the first time is special and you only live life once.

One thing I will always remember is my first kiss, well my attempt at a kiss. I was so scared back then, but now when I look back all I can do is laugh.

Why would you've regretted it?
You were both comfortable with each other. You were both willing (or at least she was).
Wanting it to be extra special will only result in a dissapointment. You're first time is almost garanteed to be special on its own.
I can appreciate you're unwillingness to pressure a girl into something she doesn't want to do, willingly or unwillingly, but I don't see what kept you back.

You're first time is a huge barrier, even more so for a girl. But once you've done 'it', it's more or less just a next step in a relationship. Heck, I had sex for the first time after 1 year of being in a relationship. We had sex after maybe 4 days in my second serious relationship.

Whatever happens you're almost guaranteed to NOT regret you're first time. You may have read the story of my first time, which was anything but magical. And still I don't regret that first time and I doubt you will regret your first time.

I'm with you there mate. I remember mine. T'was a glorious Sunday morning, your girlfriend and I decided to kiss. I have no idea why anymore though. Very nervewracking. I shall have to tell you the story about the first date I went on...man is that hilarious to look back on.

The truth is fine, and its probably better said then hidden. I have no problem with your or her past, you guys were in a relationship and you did what couples do...so you can relax.
