Why did the chicken cross the road?
So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli
Due to the death of Annios Solomon, Nikolaos Aristenos oath is now considered valid to Methodios Tagaris for convenience purposes and a reswearing is not necessary. However, Nikolaos can break his oath within the next turn without incurring a penalty, to mimic the fact that technically the oath ended with Annios' death.
Nikolaos, my friend, to celebrate your safe landing on Egyptian soil, I grant you the great city of Alexandria to rule to the best of your abilities.
I have great designs for you, Nikolaos. Things which we should best discuss in private.
Philippe 1er de Francein King of the Franks
Be it recorded in the roster of House Ilios Korakas that Captain-General Methodios Tagaris steps down from his pisition as head of the House.
Doing so, I free Nikolas Aristenos of his oath of fealty.
And I swear an oath of fealty to the new Captain-General of House Ilios Korakas, Nikolaos Aristenos.
