    Default Forced Diplomacy

    Hey,
I have started a new campaign as the Kionon Hellnon. I was going great, allied Macedon and starting to actually become something worthwhile when the Macedonians declared war on me, and are poised with a full stack attacking Athens. I dont have the powwer to stop them, so I was wondering if there was a forced diplomacy thing I could do to make them declare a cease fire?

I remember people mentioning a forced diplomacy thing you can do? Anyone know the command to force peace between Kionon hellnon and macedonia? That'd be great if you could tell me.

Forcing peace with Makedon as Koinon Hellenon just seems completely WRONG to me. Maybe another faction is a better choice for you?

Most people use Forced Diplomacy to help out the AI because the Diplomacy system is completely retarded. Such as forcing peace with a nation after defeating them for the most part. Or many times, they use Force Diplomacy to hlep out nations that need it such as Pontus or anyone else getting overrun way too soon.

If you really must, and you do enjoy it, then go ahead by all means and don't let me stop you =]

Even if you force them to ceasefire, they'll likely attack you again the next turn anyway. Use FD in conjunction with move_character to get some breathing space if you must.

Read The House of Seleukos: The History of the Arche Seleukeia
for an in-depth and fascinating history of the heirs of Seleukos Nikator.

Nope, warfare in Hellas in this period was one of constant cyclical war-ceasefire-war-ceasefire. Not all-out, total, continuous warfare with nary a break in it.
It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
    Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR

I wasn't referring it to being historical or not. I've grown to know the Koinon Hellenon position as a fun as hell uphill battle until you push the Maks north or sandwhich them between yourself and Epeiros.
