Sauromatae campaign ends early - suggestions for next campaign?

My Sauromatae campaign ended prematurely with the game claiming that I had acheived all the victory conditions (even though I had not - I had taken a large number of cities but not the designated one). I am not going to continue to fight on given that the game has already completed itself (where is the satisfaction in that).

I have also completed games with:

AS
Casse
Epeiros

Any suggestions about which faction to try next?

Depends of what you are in the mood for.

Saka might be a good choice if you still looking for a HA heavy army.

Pontus or Hi campaigns will provide a good challenge and long campaign.
