I admit I have the loinclothes activated (ye, I'm a German, and no, sexual themes in public are far less considered concernible than in many other countries), because I don't like "to play with male genitalia waving about in my face." as Foot wrote so well.


It's just a little bit disgusting and actually creepy seeing hundreds of penis guys charging into your troops...

Especially grants you VERY weird looks if any of your friends - or even worse - one of your family members actually sees you playing a game with penis soldiers running around.... Naah, not really necessary.

I understand the reason for the modesty patch although I do consider that it is a double standard of modern western society that you can have a game where you do kill thousands, but you better not see their bits.

My mother once witnessed the Gaesatae in action. I explained to her that these guys fought naked and this is a mod that focuses on historical accuracy in all its forms. She accepted.

well, I personally find the sight, or even the mere idea, of naked poeple charging at me troops terrifying to say the least. call me crazy, but there is just something scary about a naked dude whose stoned and wants to kill the enemy in that state.

that said, I do not play with the loincloth on. I let them charge as they were.

and I really do not care whether we should have a modesty patch or not.
